Research Day:
Research Day was initiated in 1980 and preceded by a similar event entitled Alumni-Education Day. This event has traditionally been planned to showcase research work completed by residents, fellows, medical students, pharmacy students/residents, and nursing students.
This year’s program continues to feature collaborative efforts of residents, fellows, and students with faculty/medical staff/professional staff as preceptors. Research Day Awards will be presented at the conclusion of today’s program recognizing outstanding presenters of these research projects in each of the four categories (oral original, oral case, poster original, poster case).
