According to The American Stroke Association, stroke is the number five cause of death and is a leading cause of disability. A stroke occurs when a clot or bursts block a blood vessel carrying oxygen and nutrients to the brain. This will cause the brain not to receive the blood needed, which results in the brain cells dying. While a stroke can be deadly, approximately 80% of strokes can be prevented. A question-and-answer session with the panel will follow.
