PGY1 Pharmacy Residents
Johnna Ball, PharmD
Johnna Ball is a PGY1 Pharmacy resident. She is from a small town outside of Charleston, WV, called Elkview. She completed a "fast-trackā program through the University of Charleston, which allowed her to progress to the University of Charleston's School of Pharmacy after two years and graduate from UCSOP in 2024. She chose to pursue a PGY1 residency at CAMC primarily due to the faculty she had worked with throughout school before graduation, who all advocated for the pharmacy profession, had a desire to teach and ensured students succeeded. Dr. Ball admired their dedication and willingness to go the extra mile to facilitate learning and provide an environment in which to get hands-on experience. She was motivated to get out of her comfort zone early on, giving her the confidence she lacked, and this has optimized her learning experiences. Outside the pharmacy, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, hiking, boating and traveling.
Bailey Coleman, PharmD
Bailey Coleman is a PGY1 Pharmacy resident. She is from Saint Albans, WV, and completed her education at West Virginia University. As a P4 student pharmacist, Bailey completed the APPE longitudinal track at CAMC, where she got to have her professors as preceptors, leading her to choose CAMC to pursue her residency. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking and fishing.
Dellani Fix, PharmD
Dellani Fix is a PGY1 Pharmacy resident. She is from Clendenin, WV, and completed her education at Marshall University. She chose CAMC for her residency training as it provides a welcoming and supportive learning environment with interesting clinical opportunities. In her free time, she enjoys working out, hiking, kayaking and spending time with her family and dogs.
Safiyyah Mitchell, PharmD
Safiyyah Mitchell is a PGY1 Pharmacy resident who graduated from Marshall University School of Pharmacy. She was drawn to CAMC for a PGY1 residency because she could see how passionate the preceptors were about their jobs and their dedication to molding students and residents. She loves all aspects of pharmacy, especially interacting with patients and rounding teams. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends.
Jonathan Robles-Diaz, PharmD
Jonathan Robles is a PGY1 Pharmacy resident. He is originally from Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Dr. Robles obtained a bachelor's degree from the University of Puerto Rico - Rio Piedras and graduated from the University of Charleston School of Pharmacy. He chose CAMC after completing most of his P4 rotations and getting to know the program, its preceptors and the residents' outstanding work. In his free time, Jonathan likes to run, hike and play video games.
PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residents
Emma Kabalka, PharmD
Emma Kabalka is a PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy resident. Dr. Kabalka is from Highland, MI, and attended Ohio Northern University. Before coming to CAMC, she completed her PGY1 residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. She chose CAMC because of its wide variety of critical care rotations and welcoming environment. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants and watching the Detroit Lions and Red Wings.
Kristyn Rooke, PharmD
Kristyn Rooke is a PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy resident from Charleston, WV. She obtained her PharmD from the University of Charleston School of Pharmacy in 2023. After pharmacy school, she completed her PGY1 at CAMC. Her current practice areas of interest include surgery and trauma. Dr. Rooke wanted to pursue training with CAMC because of the welcoming atmosphere that the health system provides to learners. She has enjoyed working with preceptors who are invested in ensuring their residents achieve their personal and professional goals. In her free time, Kristyn enjoys walking her dog and reading.
PGY2 Internal Medicine Pharmacy Resident
Jaclyn Collier, PharmD
Jaclyn Collier is the PGY2 Internal Medicine Pharmacy resident. Dr. Collier is from Indianapolis, IN, and attended Butler University. Before coming to CAMC, she completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Deaconess Health in Evansville, IN. She chose CAMC for her PGY2 because she knew it would be a great place to learn due to the friendliness and helpfulness of the preceptors. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, white water rafting, working out, cooking and watching reality TV.
