Welcome from Rupa Kapoor, MD, Program Director

Rupa Kapoor Website

My desire to support patients and families during the most challenging and impactful moments of their lives drew me to Emergency Medicine. My belief that education is the key to a better future led me to Pediatrics. It's no surprise that my passion for supporting trainees through the most demanding times of their training drives my dedication to resident education.

It is a privilege to guide and support future pediatricians as they navigate this period of immense growth. I believe that personal and professional development, identity formation and resilience building are essential components of residency training. I am continually inspired by residents' clinical care, scholarly work, teaching and advocacy, all of which help me stay connected to "my why."

I invite you to explore our program and reach out with any questions. I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey.

Welcome from Susan Ayoubi, MD, Associate Program Director

Susan Ayoubi

After completing my residency, I pursued a career in general pediatrics in an outpatient setting because of the opportunities it allowed to establish long-lasting relationships with patients and families. My goal as a pediatrician is to help children have healthy, happy, successful lives. Working as part of this residency program and as the Associate Program Director, I hope to foster happiness and success for our residents as well. It is a joy to work closely with such a diverse, skilled, dedicated and caring team to help train future pediatricians and improve the health and well-being of children, families and communities.
