Resident well-being is a priority for our program and at the institutional level. Residency is a time of tremendous personal and professional growth. CAMC offers streamlined access to mental health services for residents. A reflection room and workout space are available on-site at Women and Children’s. We have an annual all-resident retreat every fall. Outside of work, residents often get together for dinners, excursions, local events and family-centered activities. Check out some of the activities and programs below!

Our department won the competition for 2023-24, as a result of individual event wins, like the first place in the “Sweets for My Sweetie” competition which was led by two of our residents, Adam Whiteley, MD, and Kristi Wu, DO.
